OPS Challenge
Last week, Year 7 had a fabulous OPS Challenge expedition which included scuba diving, kayaking, raft building, camping and hiking. It was two days of trying new activities, honing existing skills, practising communication and leadership skills and, above all, having lots of fun!
Creative Exhibition
Our ‘Creative’ exhibition is currently on show for the School community to view in the Alston Room. We are very proud of our Year 8 students who have prepared Art or Design Technology scholarship portfolios this year for applications to a range of schools around the country.
New Cricket Shirts

Orangery Lecture
Last night’s Tuesday Orangery Lecture Pythagoras: Hero or Villain, featured Katherine Hanharan, Housemistress of Constables at Uppingham School. A large audience grappled with maths problems, as well as learning more about the man himself and the times in which he lived.
Senior Schools Fayre
25 leading local and national senior schools attended the biennial Senior Schools Fayre at OPS on Saturday. There were pleasing numbers of parents from all year groups, as well as some very excited pupils in Years 6, 7 and 8, who enjoyed talking to Registrars and Heads throughout the morning.
Cricketing accolade for Gracie
On 19th & 20th April, Gracie in Year 6 spent two days at Lord's Indoor Cricket School where she had individual coaching after being awarded the Cliff Piper Memorial Scholarship by Suffolk Cricket earlier this year. She enjoyed a great two days, including a tour of the ground and museum.
