Pupils Compete at the IAPS National Skiing Championships

On Monday 9th May, we took seven of our pupils to compete in the IAPS National Skiing Championships at The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead.

Amelie (Year 3), Oscar (Year 5) and Theo (Year 5) made up the Under-11 team. Bea, Alfie, William and Livinya (all Year 7) made up the Under-13 team.

The competition took place across two events, with all participants skiing in both the giant slalom and ‘super g’. Individual times were recorded for each competitor, with these times counting towards individual and team honours.

Amelie, who was racing competitively for the first time, achieved 2nd place in both the giant slalom and ‘super g’ events in the Under-9 category. Amelie, along with Oscar and Theo, was also part of the team that took 2nd place in the Under-11 category.
