Oscar’s Skiing Success!
A huge congratulations to Oscar in Year 7.
Oscar has now completed his first season in the National Schools Alpine Ski Squad. He ended the dry slope season in style having won three gold medals, a silver medal, a bronze medal and being placed 4th and 5th in two further races.
This autumn he also skied in the ESSKIA regional and national selection races and was successful in obtaining a place on the ESSKIA National Ski Squad, one of 16 boys in England at U14 level to do so. He therefore starts the 2024 season with places in two national ski squads and the prospect of a month of squad training/racing and competitions on the snow in the Italian Alps and Norway.
“He has performed superbly over the course of the term and will now join up with his other squad members, many of whom are in the years above him at school. We wish Oscar well for his training.”
