Bursaries
We have a limited number of Bursary Awards available to candidates of high academic or all-round ability for families who could not otherwise afford the school fees. These awards are means-tested and reviewed on an annual basis.
Armed Forces & Military Families
The School also offers a bursary of 30% to military families.

Funded Sessions for Nursery Pupils 2023-2024
Eligible Pupils may select either 8.30am-11.30am and/or 12.30pm-3.30pm daily as 3-hour funded session blocks (up to 15 hours free entitlement per week)
Nursery 1
Additional hourly rate for funded children in Nursery 1 - £10.00 per hour
Lunch Session (includes a hot meal) - £14.70 per day
Nursery 2
Additional hourly rate for funded children in Nursery 2 - £8.00 per hour
Lunch Session (includes a hot meal) - £12.70 per day
Early Start and Late Stay (Daily Rates)
Nursery 1
Early Start (8.00am to 8.30am) - £5.00
Nursery 2
Early Start (8.00am to 8.30am) - £4.00

Orwell Park School participates in the government funded childcare scheme to a limit of 15 hours funded provision per week for 3 & 4 year olds attending the school's Nursery. Funding is offered from the start of the term after a child's third birthday. The school does not offer funded hours for 2 year olds.
The free 15 hour sessions for 3 & 4 year olds must be selected from the sections marked in grey on the Nursery timetable grids in the 3-hour blocks indicated. We cannot offer funding over lunchtime, or with different start/finish times.
