Boys and girls at Orwell Park enjoy a wide range of Activities outside the classroom in addition to an extensive sports programme and varied cultural pursuits including art, music, drama etc. Activities take place every day during term time; regular trips are also organised to theatres, museums and other places of interest. Excursions and expeditions which are always fully subscribed are organised during school holidays.

A typical range of Activities during term time might include: Aerobics, Art, Assault Course, Bracken Bonanza, Brownies, Blueys (Boys’ Club), Ceramics, Chess, Comic Club, Craft Club, Debating, Drama, DT, Football, Gardening, Golf, IT, Lacrosse, Mandarin, Mountain Biking, OPS Challenge, Orangery Lectures, Photography, Pistol Shooting, Sailing, Sculpture, Squash, Swimming, Textiles, Woodland Fun.

The Schoolʼs extensive grounds are the perfect setting for camping and camp craft; the assault course offers fun and challenge to both boys and girls.

In recent years, children have enjoyed excursions, working trips, adventure holidays, sport and concert tours both at home and abroad. Within the UK: Kingswood Adventure Centre (Isle of Wight), Peak District, Chatham Dockyard,  Sutton Hoo, Ely Cathedral, etc.  Abroad: Belgium, France, Italy and Spain.
