UK Maths Challenge Bronze Award!

Many congratulations to Layla Campbell-Scott who has been presented with a Bronze Award award by The Mathematical Association in this year’s Primary Mathematics Challenge (PMC). The prestigious honour demonstrates her achievement as one of the best young mathematicians in the UK and highlights her ability to tackle some very challenging mathematical problems. Of the
66,500 children who participated in the UK Primary Maths Challenge in November 2019, Layla Campbell-Scott joined the 2500 highest scorers (top 4%) who were invited to take part in the PMC Bonus Round in February 2020. She rose to the challenge and was one of 1590 (top 2.4%) pupils to win an award in the Bonus Round.
We are all extremely proud that Layla has won Bronze. It is such an achievement to receive recognition for mathematical ability on a national scale!
