We bad farewell to our guests from Mayo College Girls’ School this weekend. We were so delighted to welcome the 9 pupils, accompanied by their teacher, to Orwell Park for a week to experience what life is like in an English Prep school. Mayo College Girls’ School is the top boarding school for girls in India and this visit is part of the exchange programme we have established with Mayo College itself. We have Year 7 pupils visiting the school in Ajmer, India every year and their pupils visiting us in return.
The pupils were totally immersed in life at Orwell Park, from learning skills in bushcraft, a Greek lesson with Mr Bob Bass, to discussing climate change, the pupils were totally involved in everything that was happening at school. They even found time to visit the Pre-Prep to tell them more about India and Mayo College.
