Year 5 had a hugely entertaining start to the week with a Comic Art masterclass with Kev F Sutherland who, among other things, has worked on The Beano, Doctor Who and The Marvel Comics. This workshop is connected to the pupil’s English unit of work this term which is based on superheroes and as a class, they created a comic book with Kev. They will be moving on with this style of writing as the term progresses, using it to write a film script, direct and then make a film! Fun and learning!
