Pupils of Orwell Park school have worked incredibly hard over the past few weeks organising their Christmas Fayre this year, raising money for their three chosen charities: 4Ocean, Action Against Cancer and the Foxhall Centre Lavender Trust. The staff choir opened the event, whilst the children engaged in fun activities and games such as the ‘Human Fruit Machine’, Teachers in the Stocks, Three-Legged Obstacle course, ‘Guess the Weight of the Cake’ and pin the nose on the Rudolf. There were many lovely homemade Christmas items to buy such as rag wreaths and quince jelly, as well as an auction for items such as a beer advent calendar. The event raised £2,700, a superb team effort from the school community!
