Young Enterprise Fiver Challenge
The Year 6 pupils are participating in the Young Enterprise’s Fiver Challenge for the first time this year which provides a fun way to introduce financial literacy, resilience and teamwork. Yesterday they enjoyed a workshop led by Pat Trimmer who introduced the pupils to the concepts of profit and capital, during a jewellery making game. They then went on to learn about the positive and negative effects of global trade, whilst representing different countries who had varied amounts of resources. It was a fun morning and the Year 6 pupils showed plenty of enthusiasm and promise for the forthcoming challenge.
